New Tours

In addition to our tried and tested trekking tours with pack dromedaries (pure hiking tours where the dromedaries carry all the luggage) Akabar – Sahara Treks offers the following programme extensions:

• Trekking tours with jeep support vehicle – trekking tours in more remote areas that are not easily accessible with our team’s dromedaries. You carry a day rucksack with water and personal items, the accompanying team in the jeep awaits you at the respective camp site for lunch or in the evening.

• Jeep tours to more remote desert areas or for travellers who only want to go on the occasional short hike – lunch break and overnight camp at beautiful desert locations.

• Adventure tour ‘Temporary Nomad’ or survival training in the Sahara. You can obtain the detailed programme for this 12-day trip from Hafid Benyachou.
